We strive to make the process of creating your closet design as seamless as possible; that is why we created our closet builder. In the single wall, reach-in, or walk-in closet designer, you simply plug in your closet's measurements and tailor the design to best suit your needs. Learn how to get the most of our builder and achieve the closet of your dreams comprised of real wood and high-quality craftsmanship.

Gather the Dimensions for the Single Wall, Reach-In, or Walk-In Closet Designer

First, collect the dimensions of your closet and the type of closet it is before working in our closet builder. Here are the three main types to choose from in the builder along with their needed measurements:

  • Single-Wall: A single-wall closet is ideal for rooms that do not have designated closet space or if you would like to start with one wall in your closet. For the single-wall closet builder, you will need the height and width of that wall in inches.
  • Reach-In: On the other hand, our reach-in is perfect for designated closet spaces. Because you have doors to consider, you will need to gather a total of six additional measurements. You will need the measurements for the back wall, both side walls, the ceiling height, and the measurement from the door frame to each sidewall in inches.
  • Walk-In: You will need the same information for a walk-in closet as the reach-in closet. You will need the measurements for the back wall, both side walls, the ceiling height, and the measurement from the door frame to each sidewall in inches.

Additionally, our closet builder allows you to become familiar with different designs with exact measurements.

Enter Your Dimensions and Tailor Its Design

Now that you have the dimensions, just plug them into our single wall, reach-in, or walk-in closet designer. Once you have filled out the dimensions in our closet builder, you can then tailor each wall in your closet with different units such as drawersdoorshampersshoe shelves, and jewelry organizers. You can also choose a hanging or standing closet, and select the desired wood finish, hardware, and more. As you tailor and design your closet, the builder will also reflect the price accordingly.
